01 · Molten
It starts at 1,064°C.
That's the temperature at which gold melts. We start from certified bullion, melt it in front of our karigars, and let it cool into something you can weigh and trust.
The molten gold cools from orange to a deep gold.
02 · The bar
999.9 means pure.
Fine gold is 99.99% pure. Jewellery needs a little alloy for strength, and the karat tells you exactly how much gold you're paying for.
Hallmark code 22K916 · Most Indian jewellery
The gold forms a bar stamped Agrawal, 999.9 fine gold, 10 grams.
03 · Craft
Then the karigar takes over.
Drawn, hammered, soldered and polished by hand. The same karigars have worked with our family for years.
The bar shrinks away and a gold ring appears and spins.
04 · Hallmark
Three marks. No guesswork.
Every gold piece is hallmarked by a BIS centre and engraved inside the band.
